Consortium national de formation en santé (CNFS)
The Glendon Campus of York University is a member of the Consortium national de formation en santé (CNFS), a group of 16 colleges and universities across Canada that offer French-language programs in the field of health. The CNFS wants to improve access to training in French for healthcare professionals so that they have the expertise to better meet the needs of Francophone minority communities. The goal of the consortium is to support projects that will give access to high quality healthcare in French for all Canadians who desire it, thus promoting the well-being of Francophones on a pan-Canadian basis.
The financial support we receive from the CNFS is what has allowed us to develop and offer the Certificate in Dementia and Cognitive Health.
