Josée Rivest works in the fields of visual perception and neuropsychology. She offers clinical services (assessment, psychoeducation, and rehabilitation) to individuals who have suffered brain damage to the posterior part of the brain. In particular, her clinical practice and research aim to better understand and help individuals who suffer from posterior cortical atrophy, face and object recognition difficulties, and topogrpahic disorientation. In addition, she is conducting studies on attention in individuals with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and on the effects of bilingualism on visual attention.
